About the Journal
Focus and Scope
A good syllabus is a piece of original scholarship; a great one is also an art form. A research or theory paper go through peer review process to be recognized and validated; the same process should be available to course materials. This is a small step towards taking teaching as seriously as we take research.
The journal publishes original syllabi, assessment instruments, assignments and activities, and articles related to college teaching.
Peer Review Process
All submissions are subject to blind review by at least two peer reviewers and the editor. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to make adjustments to this policy and move forward with one reviewer when we were unable to solicit two reviews.
The journal will be published biannually.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
